Description:

Public access TV organization, providing community information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Spectrum Cable TV channel 23.

The main phone number for contacting Lighthouse TV23 is 845-246-2800, extension 341.  Phone numbers for individual members of the TV23 committee are listed below.

Supervised and operated by the Town and Village of Saugerties.

Duties:

To direct activities, plan future enhancements, encourage quality programming and promote public awareness of Lighthouse TV23.

TV23 is managed and kept in operation by a joint Village/Town committee.  The Village appointees are Linda Armour,Paul Van Schack and Jorge Lopez.   The Town appointees are Matt Phillips, Paul O'Malley, Gus Pedersen, Bob Dederick and Mike Campbell.   Jeannine Mayer is the Village Board liaison and Leeanne Thornton is the Town Board liaison.

The TV23 coordinator (officially Public Access Program Coordinator) position is open, but expected to be filled soon.

Schedule:

TV23 committee meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every other month, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall conference room.  For a period of time, beginning earlier this year, the meetings have been at least temporarily changed to every 2nd Thursday.
