Arm-of-the-Sea will host CREEK KIDS FISH FREE – a public fishing event connecting kids with nature in observance of Earth Day. This rain-or-shine event takes place 3:30 - 6 p.m. at the Arm-of-the-Sea Tidewater Center in Saugerties. Fishing poles and bait will be available for those who lack their own gear.
Fisherman-in-Residence Adam Pumilio will guide young anglers in the lore and lure of fishing on Esopus Creek. Anyone under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The Tidewater Center is located at 57 East Bridge St., Saugerties NY, adjacent to Tina Chorvas Waterfront Park. For additional information contact art@armofthesea.org.
